Scotland's Rural College (SRUC) - where Doddie studied Agriculture in the early 1990s - is holding a rugby match between its current student rugby team against a team made up of former students. Young versus Old! Entry by donation.

Unified Rugby Match, bringing together players who suffer from learning disabilities to compete alongside non-impaired counterparts.
Organised by Trust Rugby International which uses rugby as a vehicle for enhancing the lives of its participants, fostering confidence and social skills, and splintering any philosophical barriers that still persist around illnesses that are not always visually apparent.

Clay Pigeon Team Shoot
Thirlestane Castle, Lauder
Eskdale Shooting Services are staging a Charity Clay Pigeon Team Shoot in the grounds of the spectacular Thirlestane Castle, Lauder, by kind permission of Edward Maitland Carew, to raise funds for My Name'5 Doddie Foundation and Murray House Dementia Unit at Queen's House, Kelso.
The shoot is a 500 bird team flush over 5 stands with all members of the team shooting at 100 clays on each stand. A maximum of 50 teams will participate in the event. The cost of entering a team will be £2,000 which includes bacon rolls, tea and coffee, champagne reception and lunch. The day will begin at 8am with bacon rolls and coffee and tea. The actual shooting will commence at 9.15am. After the shoot, lunch will be served in the marquee followed by a charity auction.
Westerwood Golf and Spa Resort, Cumbernauld, hosts the annual E.L.I Golf Society event, over two day at the end of May: Friday 25th and Saturday 26th May 2018.
Tee-Off 10am on Saturday 26th.

Ross Sutherland RFC are delighted to host a Sportsman's Dinner in order to raise money for both the club and for the very worthy My Name'5 Doddie Foundation. The night will include a 3 course meal, an auction with prizes so far including a week's holiday, after dinner speech by Alex Fleming and guaranteed craic!
