Festival Fizz Party for Ride for MND

The Scottish Gallery is bringing the Festival energy to Edinburgh's New Town on Saturday 30 July between 1-3pm! We have live music from Commotion, the iconic all-women samba band, champagne from Berry Bros & Rudd, Beer from Stewart Brewing and coffee from Obadiah Coffee. We will be joined by the team from Ride for MND - please come and see our Festival exhibitions, meet the cycling team and while this is a free event we encourage you to donate to Ride for MND High 5. This is a fun family event - everyone is welcome!

The Scottish Gallery supports MND charities. Motor neurone disease affects Davy Zyw, who is the identical twin brother of Gallery Director Tommy Zyw. As keen cyclists, the Ride for MND team are embarking on their biggest challenge yet. They are undertaking one of the hardest cycle rides in the United Kingdom, tackling 5 of Scotland’s highest roads in one continuous ride over the course of 260 miles on11 August 2022 (weather permitting!) Every pedal pushed, every penny raised will help Davy and others fight their battles and rid the world of this condition. It’s a race for life.
