Team Bowden Kilimanjaro Trek

Neil Bowden and his team are trekking up Kilimanjaro to raise funds for My Name'5 Doddie Foundation in memory of his wife Gill, who sadly passed away in Augus 2021 with MND. 

Neils Story 

Gill my wife was diagnosed with MND on the 25th March 2019 @ 9:14am a date & time burned into my mind. Gill passed away on 6th August 2021 @ 10:07pm another date and time I will never forget.

Gill was the most wonderful person she helped everyone nothing was too much trouble for Gill a truly remarkable women. Patience Compassion Knowledge these words were certainly made for Gill. The most caring warm generous person you could have had the pleasure of meeting, sadly taken by MND.

Gill made me promise not to do any daft fundraising events until after she passed away so I kept that promise. Before Gill passed away we discussed what I should do to provide HOPE for people suffering with MND & those who will be diagnosed with MND. I will be trekking up Kilimanjaro to raise awareness & much needed money for the MNDA & My Name’5 Doddie Foundation because we believe in a world free of MND we believe we can provide HOPE.
