MND funding opportunities
We're on a mission to find and fund the smartest, most efficient research to expedite the development of MND treatments. We’ve created three categories of funding to support our research, from the first spark of an idea right through to drug development.
Catalyst Award
For bold, innovative, early-stage ideas that need the funding to get off the ground. We fund the kind of exciting research that has the potential to transform the translational pipeline in MND.
Discovery Network
For interdisciplinary, multi-institutional teams focusing on identifying new therapeutic targets by taking on novel approaches to understanding the biology of MND.
Advancing Treatments Award
For researchers working on the early-stage development of new treatments to slow, stop, or reverse MND. Our funding helps build data packages to attract further investments and partnerships.
Our ‘Catalysing a Cure’ strategy focuses on bringing new treatments to people living with MND, faster. Driven by the urgent needs of our community, we believe effective treatments are not too far away, and by working with leading researchers and new approaches, we’re pushing faster toward making them a reality.
