Summary
Each of these awards enables clinicians to spend dedicated time on MND trials within their Trusts. This means more trials delivered across the UK and more people with MND accessing them. Through this funding, we’re helping to bring new experts into the field of MND research, and developing succession plans to ensure the sustained delivery of MND trials in the future.
Why does this matter
Right now, there is momentum behind clinical trials across the UK. But a trial is only as fast as its recruitment. Our funding helps these trials find and enroll participants more quickly, meaning we get faster results and answers.
