We have already been able to help people through some individual grants, but we also know that charities such as MND Association and MND Scotland have the necessary experience and resources to administer and manage this process, making sure we help the people who need it most.

That is why we have given these two leading charities £350,000 to help people living with MND adapt their homes and also to fund respite activities for carers.

Roddy and Karen Maclean

Roddy and Karen Maclean benefited from some support from My Name'5 Doddie Foundation. The family needed a shed to store Roddy's medical equipment, to allow their young family space to play. The community also helped the Macleans, and a local contractor, Murdo MacLeod, donated his labour to complete the project.

Wyatt and Heidi approve of the new shed!

"It means so much and has helped store all Roddy's medical equipment and helped give him and bit of independence as he is always in there with his wheel chair. We can't thank the Foundation enough for their help."
