Making A Difference

A young man on Merseyside received a special delivery this week, thanks to the generosity and efforts of our fund raisers.

25 year old Robbie Barrie from Runcorn took delivery of a new electric chair, supplied by My Name'5 Doddie Foundation, and according to his brother Thomas, it has given him a rediscovered freedom.

Robbie was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease last year. The family already receives support from the local MND Association and we were able to complement this and help Robbie get out and about again.

Thomas says it has had a big impact on Robbie's quality of life, "It is fantastic news. He really does need it and it will make his quality of life so much better and he will be able to do so much more than he is now I can't thank you enough."

"It really is going to make his life a lot easier in every way possible."

Robbie was out with his dogs this week and sent us some photos .
