Bob's 630-mile South West Coast walk

Bob Montieth is raising funds for the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation by walking the South West Coast Path, from Poole in Dorset to Minehead in Somerset.

The path is 630 miles (1000km) long and he is aiming to complete the walk in 34 days. Bob is also carrying all of his gear on his back and camping wherever he can along the way. He is currently on day 28 and is scheduled to finish on 2^rd June. With the support of his friends, family and a lot of blisters he’s nearly at the finish line!

Rugby is at the centre of Bob’s life. He is a dedicated supporter of the Bristol Bears and is a huge fan of the British and Irish Lions. Doddie Weir is a legend of the game to Bob. Alongside his incredible rugby career, he is hugely inspired by the work that Doddie is doing to raise awareness for the horrible disease that is MND. When looking for a charity to raise awareness and funds for, there really wasn’t any other option than the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation.
