Fundraising
The first Edinburgh City 7's was held in 2018 with the aim of bringing a lively invitational rugby 7's competition to Scotland’s capital. The overwhelming success led to the tournament expanding in 2019. Sadly due to the global pandemic, 2020 did not happen.
However, not only is the 2021 tournament able to proceed, it has grown in size to include Elite and Social 7’s, Hockey, Netball and Dodgeball! Spanning over two days, Saturday 31st July – 1st August, this weekend of sporting fun has something for everyone.
Off the pitch, we are delighted to welcome and host some of Scotland’s best street food & drink vendors.
We are also thrilled to be supporting and fundraising this year for the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation.
Things will feel a little different whilst we work within the present Covid restrictions but we are confident that both spectators and players will have a fantastic weekend.
