IGNITE Experiences have appointed us as their official charity partner for the 2026 Nations Championship.

IGNITE will be supporting us through fundraising activities within The Players’ Lounge, starting with Scotland v New Zealand at Scottish Gas Murrayfield on Saturday 7 November.

This fixture carries particular significance for us, as in 2017 when Scotland hosted the All Blacks at Murrayfield, Doddie stepped out in his tartan suit to deliver the match ball and officially launch My Name'5 Doddie Foundation.

This partnership with IGNITE celebrates the anniversary of this special memory, which was voted the greatest moment in the stadium's 100-year history.

Jamie McKinnon, IGNITE's co-founder, said: "Doddie gave rugby so much, and he gave his fight against MND everything he had left. Partnering with his Foundation this November is a small way of giving something back. Every guest who joins us at Murrayfield will be part of it, and we're proud of that."

Paul Thompson, our Director of Fundraising and Engagement, said: “It’s particularly special to be partnering with IGNITE Experiences around this fixture, which holds such a significant place in the Foundation’s history. Doddie’s appearance at Murrayfield in 2017, when he launched the Foundation, was an unforgettable moment and the start of something that has grown into a powerful community determined to change the future for people affected by MND."

We’re grateful to IGNITE for choosing to support us for a third year. Every partnership and every person who gets behind our work helps us fund the research needed to accelerate treatments and bring us closer to a world free of MND.
