Fundraising
We’re proud to have been chosen by Kinetic Demolition as their official charity partner this year, as they celebrate their 10th anniversary.
To mark the milestone, the team at Kinetic has set a £10,000 fundraising target to help raise vital funds for motor neuron disease (MND) research, with a full calendar of activity planned across the year.
First up, the team are taking on the Seven Hills of Edinburgh challenge on Friday 24 April. It’s a 27km route expected to take them around seven hours - a tough day on the hills, and a strong start to their fundraising efforts involving staff, clients and partners.
They’ve also made their support for us impossible to miss, wrapping one of their demolition vehicles in our Doddie Weir tartan - a brilliant and unmistakable nod to us, that’s now out and about on their sites across the UK.
Reaching 10 years in business is a huge milestone for us, and we wanted to mark it in a way that reflects what matters to us as a company. Rugby has long been part of that, including through our support of Corstorphine Cougars Rugby, so partnering with My Name’5 Doddie Foundation felt like a very natural choice. We’re proud to support such an important cause and to play our part in raising funds during this special year.
We’re hugely grateful to James and the whole team at Kinetic Demolition for their support, and looking forward to following their fundraising journey over the year. Keep an eye out for their new tartan skipwagon on the roads!
