Montrose duo's day to make a difference

Montrose was the venue for a 24 hour walk/cycle to support three charities, including My Name'5 Doddie Foundation.

Pam Strachan and Louise Cameron completed their impressive marathon on Saturday morning at 0930. As you can imagine they were very tired but very happy that they had succeeded in their challenge and were still standing!!

The total distance covered was 144.2 miles in the 24 hours which is a fantastic achievement.

The total raised has not been confirmed yet but will be in the region if £2,500 which is tremendous. This will be equally split between their 3 charities - My Name’5 Doddie Foundation, Marie Curie and Penumbra which is a local mental health charity.
