My Name'5 Doddie Foundation attends MND symposium

Last week, we attended the MND Association’s International Symposium on ALS/MND. The event brought together MND researchers from over 40 countries, and we heard from leading experts on all aspects of MND research, from cell biology, metabolism and nutrition to clinical trial design and translation of lab-based research into the clinic. Here at My Name’5 Doddie Foundation, we are committed to working with the MND research community to progress the search for a cure, and this virtual platform provided an opportunity for exactly that.

Olivia Bird, our Research and Grants Officer, said: “It is so promising to hear about the progress being made in lots of areas of MND research. A key aspect of tackling this disease is collaboration, so it was exciting to see so many researchers sharing knowledge, building new connections and sparking new ideas at this symposium. We look forward to working with researchers to build on these ideas to bring meaningful change in the MND treatment landscape.”
