Research strategy announcement

We are pleased to announce an important new project to help us drive forward our MND research strategy. We will be partnering with the healthcare consultancy Costello Medical as we aim to identify the key areas of MND research that require additional resources and funding. Targeting these research areas will be essential to succeed in finding meaningful treatments for MND. Importantly, the project will be truly collaborative, with involvement from many experts in the MND community, including people living with MND, their families, healthcare professionals and academic researchers. Together, My Name'5 Doddie Foundation and Costello Medical will develop a ‘Roadmap to a Cure', which will:

• Present key priority areas for MND research across science and biology, clinical development and health services
• Raise awareness among the general public of the need for more MND research funding
• Outline practical steps to be taken by My Name'5 Doddie Foundation to support future MND research projects

This Roadmap will be used to drive forward the funding of vital research needed to expedite the development of new treatments and support our vision of a world free of MND. We look forward to sharing the outcomes of this exciting collaboration!
