Compass School in Haddington have raised nearly £3000 for the Foundation with their Runathon.

Members of the Pupil Council at The Compass School in Haddington conducted a 'virtual' handover of a cheque for the magnificent sum of £2,696 to My Name'5 Doddie Foundation recently.
Following a sponsored 'Runathon' last month by all the children in the school, funds have continued to come in to their JustGiving page. The pupils and teachers were therefore delighted to make a formal presentation to Jill Douglas, CEO of the Foundation and who expressed the appreciation and gratitude of the charity for everyone's efforts.
The pupils chose to support Doddie’s Foundation because a number of them play rugby and the whole school has a passion for sport. They learned about motor neuron disease and developed the idea of a whole-school “Runathon”. Each class ran as mans laps as they could for their allocated time (according to year group). A huge thank you to the children and parents and teachers for their efforts.
