We are delighted to share details of an exciting and ambitious cycle ride which kicks off in March. And you can get involved!
Covering 1238 miles from John O’Groats to Land’s End in March 2019, The Great Rugby Cycle is a charity cycling event to raise funds and awareness for the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation.
The event will be a Charity bike ride from John O’Groats to Land’s End in March 2019. The peloton will ‘rest’ at The Royal Mid-Surrey Golf Club on Friday 15th March for a Scotland & world rugby legends golf event.
There will be six cyclists completing the whole event with me and we will be joined along the way by rugby legends, sports stars and celebrities from TV and Film to raise awareness and funds for the Foundation.

£100 per day which includes:
- Fully supported and escorted ride by The Road Shepherds.
- Food & refreshments with comfort stops along the way.
- Event branded T-shirt.
- Transported by bus back to your original starting point.

Tuesday 5th March 2019: Royal Dornoch Golf Club to Aviemore 72 miles
Wednesday 6th March 2019: Aviemore to Dunkeld 78 miles
Thursday 7th March 2019: Dunkeld to Edinburgh 84 miles
Friday 8th March 2019: Morning: Edinburgh to Melrose RFC 40 miles
To raise funds to aid research into the causes of Motor Neuron Disease
and investigate potential cures, and to make grants to individuals suffering from MND,
to enable them to live as fulfilled a life as possible.
