The invitational rugby team, Waterboys Rugby, has been representing the Foundation at tournaments across the globe and raised more than £20,000.
Waterboys Rugby is an invitational team providing life experiences through rugby for Scottish qualified and linked players competing in top class international rugby sevens and tens tournaments throughout the world.
During the 2018 season they represented the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation at numerous event across the globe from Hong Kong to Barbados with more than 70 players proudly wearing the teams strip featuring the branding from the foundation. Winning the Kinsale, Leamington, Dubai and Barbados rugby sevens the team has donated all of their prize money and a share of the sale of shirts to the foundation. Players and friends have also raised funds for the Foundation and Ponty Butchers also shared their runners up prize money from Barbados meaning that more than 20,000 pounds was donated to the Foundation in 2018.
In the 2019 season the team will again be raising awarness and funds for the Foundation and say they are proud to be associated with Doddie and his cause.
