The Tour of Pembrokeshire
Pembrokeshire
A virtual event offering four routes of 24, 56, 80 or 106 miles that can be ridden in Pembrokeshire if regulations permit or from anywhere in the world outdoors or indoors.
Date: Friday 14th May or Saturday 15th May or Sunday 16th May.
The challenge involves getting from Portpatrick on the West coast of Scotland to Cockburnspath/Cove on the East coast of Scotland in 24 hours, by means of cycling, running, kayaking and walking. The route encompasses the start and finish points of the Southern Upland Way and parts of the walking route along the way.
Date: The challenge is taking place on the 5th of June 2021, starting at 00:00 hrs, with the aim to finish by 11:59pm.
The Great Rugby Cycle ‘Ireland 2021’ The Inaugural Great Rugby Cycle 2019 covered 1133 miles in March 2019 from John O’Groats to Land’s End in support of the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation. The Great Rugby Cycle 2020 due to the COVID pandemic was postponed until 2021. The Great Rugby Cycle 2021 will cover over 1000 miles in an anti-clockwise direction around Ireland in eleven days, taking in some of the finest scenery Ireland has to offer. The peloton will be joined along the route by rugby legends, sporting stars and celebrities from TV and Film to raise awareness and funds for the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation.
Leaves Belfast on Thursday 1st July and returns to Belfast Sunday 11th July.
A team of us from Bo'ness Rugby Club will be looking to conquer the highest mountain in the British Isles, Ben Nevis. The team will be attempting to climb all 1,345 meters of Ben Nevis on the 3rd July 2021. We will be raising as much money as we can for My Name'5 Doddie Foundation.
Doddie5 Ride 2021 is on Sunday July 4th (Doddie5 Birthday). The sun will shine on the Borders that day as cyclists pedal through the beautiful Borders of Scotland supporting Doddie in his quest to find a cure for Motor Neurone Disease. We have 3 routes with distances and difficulty for all ages and abilities. The ride is fully supported by Medic, mechanics and marshals with food and water stops along the way. The Doddie Drive golf tournament will take place in St Andrews on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th August 2021. The inaugural two-day event promises a weekend of quality golf, warm hospitality and fundraising. The Great Rugby Try 2021

Stuart Thom will be kayaking 22 miles from Northern Ireland to Scotland, cycling 175 miles from Portpatrick to Newcastle then running The Great North Run, all within 24 hours!"

APL Charity Cycle Challenge 10th Anniversary 2020
We organise an annual charity cycle ride which is now in its tenth anniversary year. This year's nominated charity is My Name5 Doddie. The cycle route is Lochs and Glens North, 216 miles from Glasgow to Inverness.
The Logan Invitational 2019 was a hugely successful event, raising much needed funds for the My Name'5 Doddie Foundation. This year in the 5th annual Logan Invitational they will once again be supporting the My Name'5 Doddie Foundation. The day will include:
A round of golf at Stoke Park
Shotgun start
Refreshements throughout the day
