50-Mile Pass Fundraiser Hits the Mark

18 May 2021

Finlay and his grandfather, Alastair have set themselves a passing challenge

Keen rugby enthusiasts Finlay Haddow (13) and his grandfather Alastair Haddow have created a fundraiser for the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation, passing a rugby ball to each other for 50 miles (the distance from Scotstoun Stadium to Murrayfield) over the next 2 weeks.

They start at Scotstoun and will pass the ball for a few miles a day and make their final passes at Murrayfield.

They are hoping to raise awareness of MND and the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation and generate much needed funds for this worthy charity.

The two have already passed their initial fundraising target of £2000.

Any donation, big or small, would be be gratefully received. All donations go to the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation. Check out their Justgiving page here: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/fiftymilepass?fbclid=IwAR3D2uKQibwEAZIh7EGfdZI-lE2elPJS9x6YMq_s7iGfvj1koQwz-EA0IZU

Many thanks in advance

Finlay and Alastair
