Balfour+Manson Raise Over £2,000 for Foundation

17 February 2021

Staff at the Scottish law firm Balfour+Manson have raised £2081 over the last year for the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation, their 2020 chosen charity of the year.

Unable to host their usual charitable events due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, staff opted for virtual fundraising activities. From virtual quizzes and scavenger hunts, to a Christmas distance challenge, staff from across both offices got involved to raise money for the charity.

Elaine Motion, Chairman of Balfour+Manson commented: “I am incredibly proud of the amount we have managed to raise over the last year, despite the obvious obstacles! 2020 was an incredibly tough year for all charities so I am delighted that Balfour+Manson was able to give something back to our chosen charity of the year, the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation."

"The Foundation does some incredible work and has recently hit some brilliant fundraising milestones.”

Jill Douglas, CEO of My Name'5 Doddie Foundation, said: "A huge thanks to the team at Balfour + Manson for their wonderful fundraising on behalf of the Foundation. We are delighted that they chose us as their charity of the year last year - who could have known what a year it would be!? But thanks to their imagination and innovation, they have been able to come up with new ways to support our work. Thank you."
