Bo'ness Complete 6 Nations Marathon

06 September 2020

Bo'ness Rugby Club members completed their 6 Nations Challenge this weekend with a visit to BT Murrayfield.

They finished in style on the 5th of September by arranging a photocall with 7 players, the club President, Vice President and former Scotland start Sean Lineen & his wife, Lyn.

Sean and Lynn both waved the team off as they left Murrayfield and the team then walked 20 miles back home to Bo'ness Rugby Club where they were greeted by friends and family. It took just under 7 hours but their efforts helped push their efforts to over the 3474 miles mark and also helped raise further awareness and donations for My Name'5 Doddie. They are now just under £3400 but hope with a final push on social media to hit £3500.

They will be taking a break for a few weeks and will soon start training to tackle Ben Nevis as a team on Doddies Birthday 4th of July 2021.
