Crawford ‘sows’ his support for the Foundation

01 June 2023

Crawford Niven, of Gloagburn Farm, has performed some farming wizardry and sowed an image of our logo and Doddie jumping in a lineout into a field of Rye.

His creation spans over 1.5km, and he is hoping that his efforts can raise £10,000 for My Name’5 Doddie Foundation. Visitors to the farm will be able to walk around the drawing and are encouraged to book a free ticket and make a donation to the Foundation in return.

Speaking about his motivations for supporting My Name’5 Doddie Foundation, Crawford said: “Doddie Weir was a giant of a man, not only in height but also in character,

“I can’t think of a better way to show how huge an impact he has had, and his legacy continues to have on rugby, MND research and Scotland.

“I hope as many people as possible book a free ticket to experience the Doddie Walk and donate to My Name’5 Doddie Foundation.”

Crawford is a top farming influencer and shared the story to his YouTube channel. You can watch the video below.
