Cyclists Scaling New Heights

A group of ambitious and enthusiastic cyclists are cycling up their local hills to help fundraise for My Name'5 Doddie Foundation.

The Honister 92 cycling club have recently taken on an epic challenge to reach 2.6 million metres of vertical ascent as part of the London Marathon 2.6 Appeal. The challenge will be for the club members to collectively ride over their local Lakeland hills and passes to achieve this target. Their progress being logged using Strava.

At the end of the first 3 weeks of the challenge the total from the 60 participating riders was 627,574 metres of vertical assent!! Tremendous effort by all!!
