Doddie's delicious red blend has just launched

Sporting Wine Club has joined the Foundation commercial family and become an Official Licensee. Sporting Wine Club's mission is to source estate-bottled, award-winning wines and spirits with a strong and authentic relationship to sport.

Having played against Doddie back in the day, Sporting Wine Club owner, Simon Halliday jumped at the chance to work with My Name’5 Doddie Foundation to kick-off a unique fundraising initiative. Combining two of Doddie’s greatest passions - rugby and wine - the idea for ‘Doddie'5 Red Blend’ was born.

The Doddie’5 Red Blend is making its debut, made for the great Doddie who himself played rugby many times for Scotland in the no 5 shirt. Schalk Burger who also played second row for the Springboks has lovingly constructed the wine fittingly made from 5 grape varieties, and Henry Fraser, ex Saracens Academy and now paralysed due to a freak accident, has mouth painted the label. All profits go to the Foundation.
