Doddie's Memorial Service Announcement

A service to celebrate Doddie’s life will be held at Melrose Parish Church on Monday 19th December at 1.00pm, numbers will be restricted within the church therefore the service will be sound relayed to The Greenyards, Melrose Rugby Club, all are welcome to attend. Please wear any form of Tartan as requested by Doddie, No flowers please. Donations if desired may be sent to My Name’5 Doddie Foundation.

Road Closures

To facilitate the memorial service and safe movement of guests, St Mary’s Road in Melrose will be closed from 10am to 4pm.

To enable safe roadside parking for those attending the service, a one way system will operate along the length of Annay Road (east) and Dean Road (west) from 10am to 4pm. Additional parking if required may also be found on-street in Melrose and at Wairds Cemetery on the edge of the town.

No waiting restrictions will be in force from 10am along St Mary’s Road and the High Street, from St Mary’s Road to Buccleuch Street.
