Geraint Davies will be setting off on 28th May on a 450-mile bike packing challenge to raise money for My Name’5 Doddie Foundation and Brain Tumour Research.
He will be starting at Great Yarmouth and will arrive in Aberystwyth by day three. Then setting off along the West Wales coast arriving at Mumbles Pier in Swansea by the end of day five!
If it wasn’t enough to be spending all day riding his bike, Gareth will also be visiting rugby clubs and delivering sessions for mini’s, juniors, colts and seniors.
Geraint said, “My brother, Mark Davies, passed away on 23rd April 2019 following a 13-year battle with a Brain Tumour.
“Mark was a massive rugby fan and held a season ticket for Neath and the Ospreys, which is a big part of the motivation to visit rugby clubs, something that he would have loved to have done.
“As a second row, Mark was also a big fan of Doddie and I’ve no doubt would have done everything he could to raise money for the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation were he still with us.”
Thank you to Geraint for support both charities and we wish you luck on your challenge! If you would like to support him, you can do so via his Virgin Money Giving page.
