Maul Together team completes 959-mile John O'Groats to Lands End Challenge

14 September 2021

The JOGLE challenge, which took place in July over 9 days, has raised over £55,000 for both charities. The 12 riders and support staff all put in a monumental shift to complete the 959-mile journey from John O’Groats to Lands End.

Maul Together was created by a group of current and ex-players at Bridgnorth RFC. They decided it was important to create a platform to continue to work as a team after their rugby playing days were over. They were inspired by both Matt and Doddie’s causes and wanted to do their bit to help individuals suffering from life changing injuries and illnesses.

Dan Griffith, one of the founders, says, "Maul Together are extremely proud to have raised a fantastic amount of money for 2 great charities. It is a great honour to be part of what My Name5 Doddie and The Matt Hampson Foundation are doing. We are already looking forward to some future events and raising some more cash.

I would like to personally thank everyone that donated and followed our journey which really helped spur us on. I would also like to thank our incredible team of riders and support crew. The event took a huge amount of organising on and off the bikes and our team absolutely nailed it."

Thank you to all the riders and support staff who completed this challenge and helped make this happen!
