Switch commits to two more years with My Name’5 Doddie Foundation

Switch Car Rental, the latest brand from Scot Group Ltd is proud to announce the renewal of its partnership with My Name’5 Doddie Foundation, reaffirming the Group’s longstanding commitment to supporting the Foundation’s goal of a world free of MND.

Since 2018, Scot Group has been a dedicated supporter of the Foundation, contributing over £400,000 through various fundraising activities, donations, and logistical support for MND events. 

Roger Hancock, Chairman of Switch Car Rental shared his connection to the cause, “I first met Doddie eight years ago through Martin Wilson and we quickly became friends. Since then, we’ve proudly been a partner of the Foundation for seven years. It has been an honour to support the incredible work Doddie started while living with MND. The cause has always felt personal and we’re proud to continue that support under the Switch Car Rental banner. Our commitment to helping find a cure for MND is stronger than ever.”

Nicola Roseman, CEO of My Name’5 Doddie Foundation said: “We’re incredibly grateful for Switch Car Rental’s continued dedication to the Foundation, and excited to be partnering with them once again. Their support will make a real difference as we work towards identifying effective treatments and one day a cure for MND.”

Switch Car Rental is committed to continuing this legacy, actively participating in fundraising initiatives such as the Doddie Lion’s Challenge. Forty cyclists will ride across four provinces of Ireland, covering 555 miles in six days, to raise funds and awareness for My Name’5 Doddie Foundation. The challenge takes place from 15 to 20 June.
