The 2025 Hong Kong Doddie Dinner

The fifth annual Hong Kong Doddie Dinner took place on Thursday 27 March 2025 at the Hopewell Hotel. 

With over 600 people in attendance, including Doddie’s wife Kathy, this year’s fundraising dinner raised an incredible 4.6 million HKD (approximately £500,000) for motor neuron disease research. 

Hong Kong has always held a special place in the hearts of Doddie and the Foundation, and it means a great deal to see such fantastic support out there, where we are also an official registered charity. 

When Doddie announced he’d been diagnosed with MND, a number of committed supporters in Hong Kong took it upon themselves to organise a dinner to raise funds to support the Foundation. The Hong Kong Doddie Dinners have now become a regular fixture in the week leading up to the Hong Kong 7s, and the Hong Kong branch of My Name’5 Doddie Foundation will continue to support our commitment to funding research into finding effective treatments to MND.
