Scotland rugby fans are gathering in Nice as part of their Road to Japan series of events, joining fellow rugby supporters and raising funds for My Name'5 Doddie Foundation and the Murrayfield Injured Players Foundation.
The Nice Event
To kick off the summer events they have paired up with the Stade Niçois Rugby Club and are organising a fan event in their ground that will offer food, drink, fun and music for both French and Scottish fans. They are also organising a raffle to raise funds for the charities and in doing so have partnered with Scottish Rugby, French Rugby, Stade Nicois, BrewDog and the Maison du Whisky. The Stade Nicois stadium is just a short walk from the Allianz Stadium where the match will be played so fans can easily pop in on their way to the game. During the weekend they are also setting up camp at the new BrewDog bar (that opened in Nice just three weeks ago) in the centre of Nice in the days leading up the match and special offers are being put on for anyone in a Scotland shirt !
More events are planned in Georgia and of course Japan...watch this space!
