Land's End to John O'Groats, UK
Gerry Lafferty and John Service are two friends who decided 10 years ago to raise money for the Beatson Cancer Centre in Glasgow. They decided to cycle the 100 miles from their homes in Sandhead , SW Scotland to the Beatson Centre and have been cycling ever since. This year, they are cycling from Lands End to John O'Groats in aid of My Name'5 Doddie Foundation and RSABI.
They have completed several other cycling challenges raising money for MS Society, McMillan Cancer Support and My Name’5 Doddie Foundation.
GJGRANDTOUR24 is their biggest challenge to date, cycling the 1000miles from Lands End to John O'Groats.
On the 29th of August they will leave from Lands End to start the GJGRANDTOUR24 then follow the route up through England and Scotland arriving in John ‘O’ Groats on 7th September .
