Trevor's Wansfell Year Long Challenge

Trevor Jones is taking on a huge challenge, to walk or run up Wansfell in Cumbria every day for a year! Trevor has decided to support My Name'5 Doddie Foundation with this fundraising challenge, which kicks off on 21st June 2024.

Trevor's daily (or average) walk or runs up the 487m of Wansfell will cover approx 177,755m of ascent over the year long challenge which equates to 18 whole trips up Everest!

Trevor says:

"I'm a 62 and work as a gardener at Langdale Chase Hotel, check out gallery photos, which is on lake Windermere and at the foot of Wansfell. The perfect place for my challenge. So starting on 21 june will walk or run up Wansfell every day for a year. Will also do a few higher hills taking total ascent to approx 20 Everests. Not really a good comparison as won't need oxygen, just cake!"
