Doddie Aid

What is Doddie Aid?

Can you hear that? It’s a unique symphony: it’s the rumbling of thirty thousand feet hitting the pavement; the whirring of bike chains spooling up; the splashing of arms, legs and oars striking the water; a cheer as you smash your miles for MND…it’s the soundtrack of Doddie Aid and it can only mean one thing – IT’S BACK! Doddie Aid 2024 is here, and it’s bigger than ever.

What are we on about? Doddie Aid is a virtual mass-participation exercise event founded by former Scotland captain, Rob Wainwright, that lasts for 5 weeks from 1 January 2024. Participants sign up using the Doddie Aid app, choose a district to represent, claim their FREE district snood and log all their exercise miles on the app. Any exercise counts, with the winning district being the one with the most miles at the end of the event.

The last two years have been incredible, you’ve been part of a community of nearly 60,000 participants who have covered over8 million miles and raised over £4 million for MND research in the process – and we have no intention of slowing down.
