Banff RFC 45th Anniversary Dinner, Ball and Auction

Banff RFC Our 45th Anniversary dinner is taking place on the 16TH September at the Fife Lodge, Banff Scotland, tickets are £40. Our Compere for the evening will be Dave Edwards former sports journalist for the P&J. Former Press and Journal Sports editor Jack Nixon will also be travelling to the event especially and raising a toast to our club.  The event will celebrate the 45 year history of Banff RFC and a celebration of some of its current and former members including founder George Webster.

The evening will comprise of a two course dinner, followed by after dinner speaker Craig Chalmers and then an auction, with all proceeds going to the MyName5Doddie Foundation, music on the evening will be provided by local Banff band ”Wonderland” The star item being auctioned on the night is a Beautiful bust of Doddie in his famous tartan, which was lovingly created by renowned artist Jan Miller of Penicuik.

 

There are several other items of note being auctioned, including an Ireland Rugby shirt signed by the World Cup squad 2023, a signed Scotland shirt, a Doddie cycling shirt and many other items. If you would like to bid on any of the items before the event, Banff RFC are taking closed bids these can be forwarded to the club.
