Charlie's LEJOG Cycle

Charlie is cycling from Land's End to John O'Groats, in memory of his Mum. Charlie has decided to fundraise for My Name'5 Doddie Foundation, as a cause so close to his own heart.

Charlie explains on his JustGiving page that "It’s 25 years since I lost my Mum to MND. At that time there was little awareness and no cure. While today there is still no cure, thanks to the likes of Doddie Weir, Rob Burrow, Stephen Derby and Kevin Sinfield, there is a much greater awareness of this dreadful disease and support for victims and their families is so much more than it was for Mum."

Charlie is cycling the route with 5 friends from his cycle group in Edinburgh, and will be covering 1000 miles and 55,000ft of climbing along the route. What a challenge! 

Setting off from Land's End on the 1st June, Charlie will be riding all the way up to John O'Groats and hopes to raise a few pennies for the MND community along the way. Support Charlie's efforts via his JustGiving page.
