Gregor's Caley Thistle Crusade

Gregor Miller has set himself 5 running challenges to raise money for three MND charities - Euan MacDonald Centre, MND Scotland and My Name'5 Doddie Foundation in 2023! In the next challenge Bruce Aitchison, Colin Cameron, Willie Conquer, Richard Ellis, Martin Longden, Gregor Miller, Sian Miller, Andrew Paget, Simon Ramsden, Sean Rose, Scott Wilson, Davy Winton and Ross Winton are traversing 165 miles to support MND research.

Gregor lost his dad to MND in February 2019, here he explains why he and his team mates are fundraising in aid of the Euan MacDonald Centre for MND Research, MND Scotland, and My Name’5 Doddie Foundation. 

“All of us in the Caley-Crusade team want to raise awareness and funds for research into finding a cure for this terminal disease. MND is such a horrific disease for not only the sufferer, but also for their families and loved ones who are having to cope with the mental and physical emotions of supporting their loved one until the heartbreakingly inevitable outcome.”

Gregor, with support at various points along the journey from the Caley to Crusade team, will run the full 165 miles from Inverness Caley Thistle's ground to Heart of Midlothian's ground in Edinburgh. 

Gregor's first 4 challenges this year consisted of:

• Inverness Half Marathon
• Manchester Marathon
• Glasgow-Edinburgh 51 miles
• 100miles in 24hrs at Stirling University track (75 completed)
