A brave team of 8, including 6 of Knight Frank's finest and 2 Olympic gold medalists, are taking on the 24 Peak Challange in aid of My Name'5 Doddie Foundation. More details of their challenge below.
The 24 Peaks Challenge in the Lake District is one of the most demanding mountain walking challenges in the UK – which makes completing it in aid of My Name’5 Doddie Foundation all the more rewarding.
In 24 hours we will be scaling a colossal 24 peaks, a total trip of 29.5 miles (47.4 km) - all of the peaks are in excess of 2,400 feet (700m) and this equates to a terrifying 11,640ft (3,548m) of uphill battle. As a team we have limited mountaineering and trekking experience as well as a variety of ages and fitness levels - this is really going to push us a long way from our alleged suited, city-slicker lifestyles.
The team:
Roly Ingleby-MacKenzie, Andrew Groocock, Stuart Bailey, Alastair Nicholson, Christian Lock-Necrews, Alex Robinson, Adam Peaty, and James Guy
The good news for Team KF is we do have Adam Peaty and James Guy joining us. They are two of Team GB’s greatest ever swimmers, both winning multiple gold medals, and holding world records. They will be an integral part of the team becoming chief motivational speakers and team mascots! Let's hope they can perform out of the water...
