Running 100km Until My Birthday

I am María Artiles, and I will be running 100 for 4 weeks until my birthday Nov 26th, to raise funds for My Name'5 Doddie Foundation!

I am not a runner so it is a personal challenge I hope to accomplish for a worthy cause. My dad, Simon, was diagnosed with MND on May 2020, so MND is a cause close to my heart. Doddie Weir was a player that my dad looked up to be like since he started playing, and later on, he became an inspiration to him through his MND journey. My dad is my hero, he has dedicated his life to help others, and the biggest example of it is cofounding Trust Rugby International next to his brother and a close friend of theirs. By raising these funds, I would like to give back the love and support I have always received from my dad, but also honour Doddie, I am grateful to have met him and the figure of inspiration he was to my dad.
