Slater Cup ‘Cycle4MND’ Challenge

Saturday 11 March 2023 to Sunday 12 March 2023

Leicester Tigers Rugby Club, Aylestone Rd, Leicester, LE2 7TR

A group of Leicester Tigers Fans (Mike Dixon, Richard Boult, Gary Fletcher, Steve Hunt, Adrian Marsh, & Paul Williams) have teamed up with the My Name'5 Doddie Foundation charity, the MND Association charity, & the '4Ed' campaign to cycle approximately 150km 4MND from Leicester Tigers to Gloucester Rugby for the return leg of The Slater Cup game at Kingsholm Stadium on 12 March 2023 to continue raising vital awareness & funds for the MND community.

They will be cycling the reverse of the route which Ed Slater and his former teammates from both clubs took to launch his ‘4Ed Campaign’ cycle challenge from Kingsholm to Tigers last August, after being diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease (MND).

To support My Name'5 Doddie Foundation as a donation for their efforts, please visit their JustGiving page here.

Wave the team off from Tigers at around 8:30am on Saturday 11th March, and into Kingsholm between 11:30-12 on matchday (1pm kick off on Sunday 12th March).

If you'd like to order a Cycle4MND challenge shirt, you can do so here (£10 from each shirt will be split between each of the causes).

Note that sadly Karuta will not be able to push through individual orders in time for the event, as bespoke kit orders usually take 4-6 weeks.

Thank you for your support.
