The Rede & Coquet Charity Tractor Run

Saturday 28 May 2022

Otterburn Mill, Newcastle upon Tyne

On Saturday 28th of May,  The Rede & Coquet Charity Tractor Run returns in aid of My Name'5 Doddie Foundation, The Great North Air Ambulance and The British Lung Foundation.

The run will start from The Old Football Field which is adjacent to Otterburn Mill (postcode NE19 1JT) and registration will take place from 8am to 9.30am with tractors due to depart at 10:30am prompt.

Once the procession gets underway we will drive through Otterburn onto the Army Ranges and make our way up to Cottonshope head for a brief viewpoint stop. Parking on the top will be like a ‘military operation’ and we would ask that drivers adhere fully to safety marshalls instructions at all times.

We will then continue on down the Coquet and arrive in Alwinton where we will enjoy a BBQ lunch kindly provided by Jane & Gareth at The Rose & Thistle Inn. After lunch we will hold a promise auction of thirty tremendous catalogued lots that have been pledged by generous donation to our fund-raising efforts.

Finally, we will draw the raffle before taking to the roads again for the last leg of the journey back to Otterburn arriving at approximately 4pm when refreshments will be on sale to nicely round off the day.
