Ben's Walk for Doddie

Ben Eddy is walking 330 miles, beginning on 10th December 2023 in Cornwall and finishing 3 weeks later in Kent. Why? All to raise awareness and vital funds for My Name'5 Doddie Foundation. 

Ben, when asked why he decided to take on this challenge said:

"I’d grown a mullet for My Name'5 Doddie Foundation and Children’s Hospice South West in 2021 during the lockdowns and raised almost £3k. Great fun, but not exactly a challenge. And so the ridiculous idea of walking to Kent for my nephews 18th came about. 330 miles in three weeks. The walk takes me from the county of my birth and my home, to where I spent my formative years in Seaton, Devon and then on to Kent.

I love my rugby, had some great days out at Twickenham watching England, Premiership Finals, watching Cornwall in the County Championship, travelling to New Zealand for a Lions Tour. My Name'5 Doddie Foundation was an easy choice. Doddie was part of one of my favourite teams, the 1997 Lions. So you will see #mistakenidentity on my Instagram posts. If you know, you know."
