Background
My Name’5 Doddie Foundation is also an official registered charity in Hong Kong, helping us work towards our mission: A World Free of MND.
Before his diagnosis, Doddie had supported a number of charitable initiatives in Hong Kong. When Doddie announced he’d been diagnosed with MND, a number of committed supporters in Hong Kong took it upon themselves to organise a dinner to raise funds to support the Foundation.
So far, the team in Hong Kong has held four incredible dinners, which have become a regular fixture in the week leading up to the Hong Kong 7s, raising hundreds of thousands of pounds as a result.
The Hong Kong branch of My Name’5 Doddie Foundation will continue to support our commitment to funding research into finding effective treatments to motor neuron disease, as well as supporting people living with MND in Hong Kong.
